Inspired by Wildcrafting

Wildcrafting is the ancient practice of harvesting plants from their natural or "wild" habitat for food, craft or medicinal uses. All herbs in Sigrid's products are ethically wild crafted or harvested from her family's organic garden in the Ottawa Valley. Herbs are infused in extra virgin olive oil and the medicine from the plants is extracted through sun energy or low and slow heat.

Sigrid's butters, creams and lotions are whipped in the traditional style and each glass jar is hand filled and labeled by Sigrid with help from friends and family.

Sourcing Mindfully

All non wild ingredients are purchased locally with the majority of ingredients coming from small independent businesses. Several of Sigrid's products contain ingredients which are exclusively grown and harvested in Ontario, including her beeswax, honey, certified organic sunflower, hemp oil and garden herbs. Keeping the health of the Earth and our bodies in mind, Sigrid continues her commitment to increase the amount of locally grown ingredients in her products.
