Sigrid in the Community

The process of learning how to use my hands, create healthy products that people appreciate and make money doing what I love has significantly empowered me as a woman. As part of my community building I volunteer my time at different social organizations teaching women how to make their own all natural skin care, in hopes to inspire them and connect them with nature.

I conduct workshops for the following women's groups and shows and girls groups: Arising: Women in Nature, Women's Health Matters, Sistering - Ordinary women in extraordinary circumstances, St. Stevens Community Center Venus Girls Project, George Herman House Programming and supportive housing for women coping with mental illness, Boundless Adventures Young Family Program, Back to the Garden Nature Retreats and more.
